Normalization of Porn in Pentecost

July 17, 2019

      Not long ago porn use was socially unacceptable and considered repulsive.  This is not the case today, especially with most everyone on smart phones.  Young people average 7-10 hours per day on their phones.  This has replaced traditional TV watching, which has been sanctified by the church and now considered wholesome and necessary.  Of course unrestricted use of the internet with smart phones is much more dangerous than sinful TV watching.

      Experts in the field of digital porn report that 100% of young people are addicted to porn(Brad Huddlestone Author of the book Digital Cocaine being one expert).

    Apostolics will no doubt protest and say that our young people do not watch porn on their phones  because they have the Holy Ghost.  A young influential Apostolic minister recently estimated that at least 90% of the Apostolic youth are on porn(members in good standing).

This is yet another issue that the Pastors, preachers, teachers and church leaders ignore.  After all how can they address such a serious universal problem in the church under their watch in a meaningful way?  The church has allowed every other sin, why not pornography.

     TV is a main stay, Hollywood movies, public schools, public university, skinny pants, divorce and remarriage(adultery), chemical abortion (the “Pill”, mini pill, IUD, Norplant, Depo-Provera, Emergency Contraception (the "Morning-After Pill"), and anti-fertility vaccines) and so much more is seen in churches across this country.

     The issue of pornography is so embarrassing no one wants to deal with it and it is not just young people viewing it.  Before long pornography will become normalized like TV was in Pentecost in 2014.  When it becomes normalized then there is no longer a problem.  It becomes sanctified no matter how evil it still is.

      Ephesians 5:3  But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

      This should not be once named among the saints, but instead it is widespread and largely ignored.

      The church leaders who allowed all the other sins into the church certainly will not remove porn from the church either.  They keep denying that there is even a problem.

      I feel for those addicted to porn, there is hope to escape the addiction but not in a church that ignores it.  Find a Bible Beard church that is not afraid to tackle this serious problem.

      The real truth applied will set you free!
